This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to provide technical support, training, and maintenance for our information systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving system-related issues, developing and delivering training programs, and collaborating with IT administrators to implement patches and updates.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. System Support: Provide first-level support for various information systems, including Dipar Datagear, Peopleflow, Hubdoc, Payspace, Syft, Power BI, Mesh, Xero, Approval Max, Sign now, Netcash, Picsa, and Microsoft 365, Jotform.
  2. Troubleshoot and Resolve System-Related Issues: Troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  3. Maintain Detailed Knowledge of Each System: Maintain a detailed knowledge of each system to assist end-users effectively.

Training:

  1. Develop and Deliver Training Programs: Develop and deliver training programs and materials for employees to ensure they have a solid understanding of the systems they use.
  2. Conduct Regular Training Sessions: Conduct regular training sessions and workshops to enhance system proficiency.

Liaison with Service Providers:

  1. Serve as Primary Point of Contact: Serve as the primary point of contact between the company and external service providers for the supported systems.
  2. Coordinate Communication and Resolution of Issues: Coordinate communication and resolution of issues between the company and service providers.

User Access Management:

  1. Manage User Access and Permissions: Manage user access and permissions within the systems to ensure data security and compliance.
  2. Assist in Creating and Revoking User Accounts: Assist in creating and revoking user accounts as needed.

Reporting and Analysis:

  1. Generate Reports and Analyze System Data: Generate reports and analyze system data using Power BI to provide insights and recommendations for improving system performance.
  2. Design and Develop Reporting Dashboard: Design and develop a reporting dashboard for management across the business.

Documentation:

  1. Create Comprehensive Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all supported systems, including user manuals and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of the listed information systems is a plus.
  • Certification in relevant systems and technologies is desirable.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BSc. Agriculture or similar tertiary qualification.
  • Minimum of 5 -7 years practical seasonal experience in fruit production and farm management.
  • Minimum of 3 -5 years in a middle management role.
  • Advanced computer skills (MS Office suite) and familiarity with IT systems (e.g., Power BI, Farm Trace, ACCPAC, DF Probes advantageous).

Location:

The successful candidate will be based in the Winelands area near Klapmuts.
