About the Role:

Capitec Bank is seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Support Specialist to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical leadership from a solutions perspective to technical support teams, including solutions design, technical incident and problem resolution, and technology guidance to enable delivery to clients.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide detailed reports and trend analysis to inform managerial decision making.
  • Provide technical leadership from a solutions perspective to technical support teams, including solutions design, technical incident and problem resolution, and technology guidance to enable delivery to clients.
  • Lead the delivery of technical support services to users at Capitec Retail and Business Retail Centres, ensuring efficient resolution of technical issues.
  • Collaborate with vendors to resolve technical queries and implement new technologies.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A relevant qualification in Information Technology - Technical Support or Information Technology - Computer Science.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a corporate technical support environment.
