Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of high-value accounts, including:

  • Managing ~1 to 4 regional MNC accounts throughout their lifetime with MTN (existing and potential perspective clients) and across and beyond MTN footprint.
  • Developing and implementing account plans to drive revenue growth and expand market share.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key account decision makers to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities and leads to close new accounts.
  • Ensuring delivery of financial and operational targets, while adhering to MTN policies for compliance and sound governance.
  • Liaising with and managing interaction with Local Account Managers for his dedicated accounts within each OpCo and other virtual team members across all relevant functions.

In addition, the successful candidate will work closely with the bid management organization to build out detailed RFP responses and contract development, and develop and maintain strong long-term relationships with the key account decision makers.
