Role Summary

We are a leading international Golf Course Optimization company, seeking a skilled Installation Technician to join our dynamic team. Our company specializes in optimizing golf course operations by installing state-of-the-art GPS trackers and Android tablets into golf carts. This role involves traveling abroad to perform installations, ensuring that our technology is seamlessly integrated into our clients golf carts. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of installation quality and addressing any challenges that arise on-site.

Key Responsibilities

● Install GPS trackers and Android tablets into golf carts at various international locations.

● Ensure proper integration with existing golf cart electrical systems.

● Travel abroad for extended periods to complete installations at client sites.

● Work with low voltage DC circuits and perform mechanical installations with precision and care.

● Configure devices including mobile phones, tablets PCs, and GPS devices.

● Develop strong working relationships with remote support agents

● Ensure timely execution of the installation process.

● Execute installation procedures, perform final system checks, and ensure optimal functionality of systems before site departure.

● Update the Field Management System, record on-site issues, and maintain accurate records of expenses and client interactions.

● Maintain and replenish your toolkit, ensuring tools and spare stock are at optimal levels.

● Ensure client sign-off, reporting, and ratings are completed for every site visit.

Requirements

● DC low voltage: Excellent understanding of low voltage DC circuits.

● Hand skills: Proficient in working with electric and mechanical Hand Tools

● Passport: Valid passport for international travel.

● Field installation: Must have previous experience in field maintenance..

● Computer Literacy: Proficient in using the Microsoft and or Google suite of products and comfortable working with software systems.

● Customer-Centric Approach: Fully embody the 'A customer's problem is my problem' mindset and proactively solve issues.

● Collaboration & Teamwork: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with peers, installers, and management to drive success.

● Attention to Detail: Focus on accuracy in task execution and project management, ensuring the integrity of data for reporting purposes.

● Effective Time Management: Ability to prioritize and manage workload to meet business deadlines and project milestones.

● Adaptability: Able to handle changing circumstances and unexpected challenges with professionalism.

Desirable Requirements

● Experience in access control and security installations or auto electrical work is advantageous.

● Formal qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or similar is advantageous.
