About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Solar Technician who will be responsible for performing installations, maintenance and repairs on solar PV systems to ensure maximum efficiency. Key responsibilities include conducting regular inspections, troubleshooting technical issues and ensuring continuous power generation. The ideal candidate must have demonstrated knowledge of solar systems, hands-on experience with solar panels and components and strong analytical skills to effectively diagnose and resolve issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain and repair solar PV systems to ensure each system functions optimally.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues in solar systems to prevent malfunctions.
- Work collaboratively with a team to complete solar installation projects within project timelines and adhere to safety protocols.
- Conduct regular inspections of installed systems to identify potential issues and address them before they become major problems.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Demonstrated knowledge of solar systems and their principles of operation.
- Hands-on experience working with solar panels and system components.
- Strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Certification or formal training in solar energy technology is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with colleagues and management.
Estimated Salary Range: $55,000 - $70,000 per year. This estimate is based on industry standards for this role in the location.
