Main Responsibilities:

Key responsibilities include commercial underwriting and client interaction, handling the complete process of commercial claims, as well as general office management. Additionally, the role involves dealing directly with clients, attending to policy amendments, distributing policy documents, issuing new policies, ensuring timely renewals, and registering and managing the entire claims process.

Minimum Requirements:

To be successful in this position, candidates must have a registered representative status with the FSCA within the last 5 years for Short Term Personal and Commercial lines – intermediary services without supervision. A completed COB (class of business) is also required for both Personal and Commercial Lines. Furthermore, a RE5 qualification and NQF4 are necessary, along with 3 to 5 years of experience in claims and underwriting, excellent administration skills, and the ability to analyze situations, form opinions, and make decisions independently. Strong communication and numerical abilities are also essential, as well as proficiency in MS Office applications including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
