The successful candidate will have a strong background in counseling, including a Doctoral level qualification and/or a demonstrable track record in research or other scholarly activity of relevance to counseling. They will also be familiar with, and agree to work within, the current BACP Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions.

Your primary responsibilities will include designing, planning and delivering teaching sessions, assessing student work, and providing timely and constructive feedback to students. You will also be responsible for developing, updating and continuously improving course materials, and contributing to the design, development, delivery, review and enhancement of programs of study within the Faculty and across GBS.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Teach and assess students on our undergraduate and postgraduate programs in counseling.
  2. Contribute to the design, development, delivery, review and enhancement of programs of study within the Faculty and across GBS.
  3. Develop, update and continuously improve course materials.
