Job Title: Control Systems Supervisor

At HR Genie, we are seeking a highly skilled Control Systems Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the on-time completion of projects, managing programming teams, and enforcing company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define programming milestones and ensure they are achieved
  • Ensure that team members have the necessary support to fulfill project scope
  • Provide accurate feedback to superiors
  • Ensure that control system documentation is completed upon project completion
  • Attend and contribute in project-related meetings
  • Liaise with customers during projects
  • Provide production support as needed
  • Travel locally and internationally for installation and commissioning of facilities
  • Integrate and interface with other site machines
  • Modify and adjust existing programs
  • Understand and comprehend facility purpose and objectives
  • Assist fellow employees remotely or on-site when required
Requirements:
  • Formal tertiary education in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
  • 5+ years of PLC programming experience in the automotive industry
  • Experience with PLC logic and programming with various PLCs
  • Knowledge of SCADA, motion control, robotic, and measuring systems
  • Computer and PLC system configuration knowledge
  • Ability to create and read logic and flow diagrams
  • Practical understanding of electrical circuitry
  • Sound understanding of facility commissioning requirements
  • Practical usage of MS Office software
  • Confident communication and interpersonal skills
