Job Title: Control Systems Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Control Systems Supervisor to join our team at HR Genie. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the programming and integration of control systems, ensuring timely project completion, and managing a team of programmers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Define programming milestones, ensure team support, and enforce company policies and procedures.
  • Team Leadership: Manage a team of programmers, provide accurate feedback, and ensure control system documentation is completed upon project completion.
  • Technical Expertise: Possess in-depth knowledge of PLC programming, SCADA, motion control, and robotic systems. Experience with interfacing and integrating systems is essential.
  • Communication: Confidently interface and communicate with technical professionals, customers, and team members.
  • Travel: Travel locally and internationally to assist with installation and commissioning of facilities.

Requirements:

  • Formal tertiary education in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of PLC programming experience in the automotive industry.
  • Proficiency in PLC logic and programming with various PLCs, including Siemens, Beckhoff, Allen Bradley, and Mitsubishi.
  • Experience with SCADA, motion control, robotic, and measuring systems.
  • Strong understanding of facility commissioning requirements and project management principles.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a projects environment.
  • Practical understanding of electrical circuitry and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in MS Office software.
