About This Opportunity

The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a transport coordinator or a similar role, excellent attention to detail, ability to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.

They must maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times, possess effective communication skills both verbally and in writing, and be able to understand and apply complex information from various sources.

The Operations Executive will work closely with internal customers to ensure customer satisfaction, perform administrative duties of all tasks relating to employee transportation, and interact with transport vendors to ensure service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate transportation activities
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards
  • Monitor vehicle hygiene status
  • Optimize routes for maximum efficiency
  • Verify statutory documents and licenses
  • Brief drivers on safety aspects
  • Collaborate with stakeholders

Requirements:

  • A high school qualification or equivalent
  • Knowledge and understanding of geographical areas of the broader Western Cape
  • Prior experience as a transport coordinator or a similar role
