Job Title: Spray Painter

We are seeking a skilled Spray Painter to join our team at General Heavy Marine (Pty) Ltd in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in paint mixing and spraying techniques, with experience in working with various materials and tools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and prepare surfaces for painting, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
  • Mix and apply paint according to specifications, using a variety of materials and tools.
  • Operate spray guns and other equipment to achieve high-quality finishes.
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment and facilities to ensure optimal performance.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in spray painting, preferably in a business-services environment.
  • Strong knowledge of paint mixing and spraying techniques.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
