Key Responsibilities- Prospect for new clients through networking, cold calling, and door-to-door canvassing for new business
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and clients
- Conduct comprehensive risk evaluations for clients and provide tailored solutions
- Draft, track, and measure personal business plans to achieve targets
- Provide ongoing service and support to individual client bases, including amendments, renewals, and claims
- Retain existing business through renewal discussions and negotiations
- Develop internal and external relationships with clients to drive business growth
- Stay up-to-date with commercial insurance market changes and developments
- Achieve and exceed targets consistently
- Completed Matric or National Senior Certificate
- FAIS credits or Full Insurance Qualifications (depending on DOFA)
- RE5 (depending on DOFA)
- Valid code B driver's license
- 3 years external sales experience (if not from the insurance industry)
- Self-starter with excellent communication and numerical skills
- Team supervisory skills and ability to work independently
- Confident and enthusiastic self-starter with analytical and problem-solving skills
- Relationship management and presentation skills
- Resilience and adaptability in a dynamic environment
