About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Solutions Engineer to join our team at HR Genie. As a key member of our sales and technical team, you will be responsible for working with customers to understand their manufacturing processes and requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Requirements Analysis: Engage with clients to thoroughly understand their manufacturing needs and requirements.
  • Solution Design: Assess customer needs and determine where our software products can be integrated to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Technical Consulting: Provide advice and support to clients on the best use of our software products to meet their operational goals.
  • Sales Support: Collaborate with the team to demonstrate the value of our solutions through presentations and supporting Proof of Concepts (POCs).
  • Solution Delivery: Ensure the technical team is fully informed about what was sold to meet all the demands and guarantee successful implementation.
  • Project Management: Lead and support the implementation of any POCs in customer environments, ensuring timely and successful deployment.
  • Post-Sales Support: Regularly check in with customers to ensure our solutions are working effectively and that they are satisfied.

Requirements:

  • Technical Background: Strong technical background in manufacturing execution systems and automation.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to design effective technical solutions.
  • Sales and Negotiation Skills: Proven sales and negotiation skills with the ability to articulate technical benefits to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum 3 years experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems, in the engineering and automation field.
  • Education: Formal Tertiary education, including National Qualification in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering, B.Eng. Mechatronics, B.Sc Information Technology, or B.Tech or B.Eng. Industrial.
  • Languages: English (required), Afrikaans (optional), and German (advantageous).

Working Conditions:

  • Travel Expectations: Solutions engineers may need to support a wide geographic area, including international travel as needed.
  • Work Environment: Portray a positive image of HR Genie while being detail-orientated, customer-focused and results-driven.
