Business Development Representative

We are seeking an Inside Sales Business Development Representative to join our team. This role is responsible for identifying customer needs and directing them to the correct department or sales group within the company. You will develop long-term customer relationships by providing exceptional service and understanding their business needs.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships and meeting sales targets. You will be required to make 30-50 outbound calls per day and meet targeted levels of customer meetings. Proficiency in English and Afrikaans is essential, as well as record-keeping skills in CRM.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a technical or marketing field and 0-2 years of professional sales experience. Directly managing and supporting accounts and multiple technical product lines is a must. Experience in the industrial chemical industry is preferred.
The salary for this role is estimated to be around $55,000-$65,000 per year, based on industry standards and location. This figure may vary depending on individual performance and other factors.
In this role, you will:
- Identify customer needs and direct them to the correct department or sales group
- Develop long-term customer relationships by providing exceptional service and understanding their business needs
- Making 30-50 outbound calls per day to meet sales targets
- Meet targeted levels of customer meetings and maintain accurate records in CRM
- Work with H.B. Fuller account managers to ensure closure of new business and coordinate customer site visits
