Job Overview

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Liaise with suppliers on a regular basis to ensure timely delivery of ordered stock.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor procurement programs/schedules.
  • Report on the coordination of stock deliveries to management teams.
  • Manage tender enquiries, quotations, and supplier-related issues.
  • Issue purchase orders and manage payment terms and delivery.
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels by analyzing sales data and forecasting demand.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to meet orders in a timely manner and analyze procurement processes for opportunities to streamline and reduce costs.
  • Minimize the risk of obsolete stock by managing and controlling inventory.
  • Liaise with freight forwarders for clearing and costings of freight.
  • Facilitate stock takes and maintain products on the IT system.
