You will form part of the Mass Foundation Cluster, one of the largest customer-facing business segments in Old Mutual. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all vacancies are filled with suitably qualified employees within the shortest possible time so as to avoid undue disruption to the business.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining a winning fit-for-purpose talent acquisition capability in line with business requirements.
  • Conducting all functions relating to the talent attraction process, including advertising, interviewing, evaluation, and appointment of new employees within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Maintaining an accurate vacancy tracking system and providing proactive, ongoing feedback on progress.
  • Making offers of employment for permanent and temporary staff that is aligned with the Recruitment and Remuneration strategy and approved by the Employee Relations Manager.
  • Ensuring that the Management Information around the Talent attraction process is constantly updated, including a database of potential candidates identified internally and externally, analysis of rejections, and so on.
  • Maintaining a sound knowledge of scarce skills and future talent requirements of the business, as well as employment equity targets, and proactively identifying sources for candidates to meet these requirements.
  • Maintaining professionalism and ethics with regard to the psychometric assessment process and evaluation of applicants.

Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

  • 2-3 years experience in a high-volume/bulk recruitment role.
  • Financial services industry experience.
