HR Genie is seeking a seasoned Strategic People Development Director to spearhead HR initiatives and drive organizational growth. This captivating opportunity focuses on cultivating a positive work environment, fostering employee engagement, and ensuring HR processes align with the company's goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies that support business objectives.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and retention efforts to build a high-performing team.
  • Oversee performance management processes and employee evaluations to drive growth and development.
  • Design training and development programs to enhance employee capabilities and stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulatory standards to mitigate risk and maintain a positive reputation.
  • Manage employee relations and foster a supportive, inclusive culture that promotes collaboration and innovation.
  • Conduct regular HR audits and refine policies to ensure operational excellence and alignment with best practices.

Salary: R1,200,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with employees and stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational and project management abilities to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills to liaise across all company levels and communicate HR initiatives to employees.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in human resources, with a minimum of 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Knowledge of HR software and systems to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Comprehensive understanding of South African labor laws to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.
  • HR certification (e.g., CHRP, SHRM) is an advantage.
