Position Overview:
The Conference Content Strategist will play a pivotal role within a dynamic team, focusing on the design and implementation of our conference offerings. This individual will be tasked with creating compelling and informative conference agendas that resonate with our strategic goals and cater to the interests of our target demographic.


Key Responsibilities:
The Conference Content Strategist is expected to exhibit innovative thinking and actively engage in the development and execution of our conference initiatives. Responsibilities include:

  • Crafting diverse conference agendas that encompass a wide array of topics, speakers, and formats to attract our audience.
  • Collaborating with internal teams and external partners to pinpoint relevant themes and content for our conferences.
  • Conducting thorough research to stay abreast of industry trends and best practices, ensuring that our conference content remains relevant and engaging.
  • Identifying and recruiting distinguished speakers and industry experts to enhance our conference sessions.
  • Coordinating with speakers to ensure they are adequately prepared and equipped with necessary materials.
  • Managing the production of conference-related materials, including agendas, session descriptions, and speaker bios.
  • Overseeing logistical aspects of conference programming, such as room assignments and technical requirements.
  • Working closely with marketing teams to promote conference content and engage participants effectively.
  • Gathering feedback from attendees to assess the success of conference programming and identify areas for enhancement.
  • Assisting with on-site event management and post-conference activities, including compiling session recordings and preparing reports.


Performance Metrics:
Success in this role will be measured through various key performance indicators, including:

  • Conference Attendance: Tracking the number of registered attendees and comparing against targets.
  • Speaker Engagement: Monitoring the participation and satisfaction of speakers.
  • Content Quality: Evaluating session ratings and feedback from attendees.
  • Program Execution: Assessing adherence to timelines and logistical effectiveness.
  • Attendee Engagement: Analyzing engagement metrics from promotional efforts.


Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in conference production, preferably within a B2B context.
  • A relevant tertiary qualification or university degree.
