Job Description
- The Business Development Specialist will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, as well as building and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.
About the Job
- The successful candidate will have excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and close deals.
- A high level of organizational and time management skills are essential in this role, as well as the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the agriculture industry, including market trends and competitor activity.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to capitalize on these.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensuring exceptional customer service.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Matric / Grade 12 qualification.
- Relevant degree or qualification in business or a related field.
- At least 3-5 years' experience in a business development or sales environment, preferably in the agriculture industry.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and meeting deadlines.
