Job Role:

The Boardroom Appointments invites applications for the position of Payroll Officer, reporting to the Payroll Controller in Pretoria West. This role requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail to manage the payroll function, generate payrolls, and improve payroll processes.

Key Tasks:

  1. Manage payroll operations and process regular payrolls.
  2. Review information for accuracy and completeness.
  3. Process employee salaries, benefits, and deductions.
  4. Ensure compliance with laws and regulations regarding payroll.
  5. Collaborate with HR and other departments to improve payroll processes.
  6. Liaise with staff and management on payroll-related queries.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Accounting or related field.
  • Minimum three years of experience in payroll administration.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll laws and regulations.
  • Proficient in SAP or other payroll software.
