Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Transformation Specialist to join our team at Nedbank. In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders to identify areas of improvement and develop solutions to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Process Engineer III to leverage their expertise in BPM techniques, concepts, and tools to drive process transformation and performance improvement initiatives. You will lead some process transformation and/or performance improvement engagements, working with cross-functional teams to design and implement innovative solutions.

Main Responsibilities
  • Define project scope and estimations for process initiatives
  • Develop process deliverables based on relevant project delivery methods
  • Prioritize process work with business stakeholders
  • Design and execute process improvement initiatives, ensuring quality, scope, and timeframes are met
  • Conduct As-Is and To-Be discovery, analysis, and design using relevant analysis techniques
  • Engage with business stakeholders on strategic initiatives requiring process improvement
  • Consult with senior stakeholders across clusters
  • Build business cases to demonstrate value and calculate ROI for stakeholders
  • Analyze value chains (cross-functional process mapping) and link business strategy to process architecture
  • Develop end-to-end process views (operating models)
  • Understand process improvement and Enterprise Architecture frameworks
  • Measure process performance using advanced metrics
  • Design and develop process measurement analytics and collaborate on tool construction
  • Evaluate benefit realization for process implementation
  • Streamline processes, resolve problems, manage change, and utilize BPMS tools effectively
  • Integrate change management into transformation initiatives
  • Communicate plans to facilitate planned changes
  • Develop mitigation strategies for cross-organizational impacts on process improvement projects
  • Manage information capture in BPM tools and review models for compliance
  • Collaborate with data architects on dataflow, data transformation, interface needs, and sources
  • Apply big data concepts for research, customer experience management, and information mining
  • Understand current and emerging technology landscapes for BPM applications
  • Comply with regulatory and compliance drivers within the customer domain
  • Establish process-related task boundaries and predictions
  • Anticipate process outcomes based on appropriate project delivery approaches
  • Identify potential enhancements and build business cases to illustrate worth and compute ROI
  • Implement process enhancement strategies, assuming accountability for individual delivery
  • Guide process engineering groups working on various projects
  • Create new BPM process structures
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience as a Process Engineer in an Agile environment
  • Proficiency in BPM, Change Management, ARIS, BPMN, and other collaborative team methods
  • Leadership on small-to-medium process and performance improvement engagements

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this role is R1 200 000 - R1 800 000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including medical aid, retirement fund, and leave entitlements.
