Role at GroupM

GroupM EMEA is on the lookout for a proactive and seasoned leader to assume the position of Regional Excellence Transformation Lead.

The individual in this role will spearhead business innovation across over 40 markets within Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), guiding a team of 20 experts in systems, processes, transformation, and robotic process automation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct and oversee a diverse group of specialists to implement significant business transformation projects.
  • Balance the drive for global consistency with the unique demands of individual markets to effectively address business challenges.
  • Ensure that the full advantages of new systems are achieved through thorough business change, including process design, stakeholder engagement, and effective change management.
  • Work closely with various stakeholder groups to ensure timely project delivery and make decisions that advance the business objectives.
  • Manage projects from initial feasibility and high-level business case development to detailed design, execution, and benefit tracking.
  • Create and maintain a centralized system for monitoring business cases.
  • Provide regional frameworks to markets, enabling strategic execution without sacrificing competitive advantage.
  • Oversee the budget for the rollout of transformation initiatives across the EMEA region.
  • Engage in and contribute to global projects aimed at advancing the business.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience in leading business transformation initiatives within a multinational context.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with the aptitude to motivate and manage a team of specialists.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Strategic mindset with the capacity to align global standards with market-specific requirements.
  • Expertise in business and process design, along with change management methodologies.
  • Experience in formulating high-level business cases and monitoring their outcomes.
  • Proficient in budget management and resource allocation across a large geographical area.
  • Familiarity with systems, process automation, and robotic process automation is essential.
  • Background in finance and central operations is highly advantageous.
