Join our team at Village N Life Events as an Events Reservations and Groups Consultant and be part of creating memorable experiences for our clients. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in handling event inquiries, coordinating group reservations, and ensuring the smooth execution of events and group bookings.

As an Events Reservations and Groups Consultant, you'll be responsible for managing the end-to-end process of event inquiries and group bookings. You'll work closely with clients to understand their event requirements, provide them with suitable options, and assist in planning and organizing all aspects of their events. Your exceptional customer service skills and attention to detail will ensure that every event and group booking is a success.

**Responsibilities**:

- Handle inquiries and reservations for events and group bookings, including weddings, corporate events, and conferences.
- Communicate and coordinate with clients to understand their requirements and provide suitable options.
- Assist in planning and organizing all aspects of the event, including venue selection, catering, decorations, and audiovisual requirements.
- Ensure accurate and timely communication with clients regarding event details, policies, and payment terms.
- Coordinate and collaborate with internal departments, such as sales, operations, and food and beverage, to ensure smooth execution of events and group bookings.
- Prepare and maintain event documentation, such as contracts, event orders, and function sheets.
- Handle any changes or disruptions that may occur during events and take appropriate actions to resolve issues.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients, anticipating their needs and ensuring their satisfaction.

**Requirements**:

- Prior experience in event planning, reservations, or a similar role.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer-focused mindset with a knack for problem-solving.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with event management software and systems.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or qualifications in event planning or hospitality are a plus.
