**Role Responsibilities**:
1. Recruitment and selection
- Place job ads once signed off by HR Manager
- Screen CV’s and create a shortlist
- Set up interviews
- Do all reference checks on favorable employees
- Liaise start date with employees

2. Employee on / off boarding and contract management
- Arrange the equipment and placement of new employees (Laptop, desk chair etc.)
- Create new file for employees.
- Ensure staff files are up to date and secure.

3. Benefits administration
- Research wellbeing initiatives for the group, encouraging participation and awareness - with the approval of directors.

4. Performance Management
- Set up performance management meetings.
- Prepare documentation for performance management.

5. Remuneration, Rewards and Incentives
- Filing of annual increase cycle letters communication
- Distribution of personal communication
- Plan and implement all social activities

6. Employee Relations and discipline
- Set up meetings for one-on-one meetings with staff
- Refer all disciplinary proses to the etxernal consultant - setting up of meetings and feedback
- Arrange monthly Staff rep meeting and take minutes and give feedback to staff

7. Legislation
- Arrange meetings for employment equity in line with the HR Managers Equity plan, minutes, and feedback on all meetings
- Print and assist the HR Manager with all EE reports
- Set up EE elections and minutes thereof.
- Scan and send the annual training reports to the HR Manager when requested
- Keep EE file up to date with appropriate documentation that needs to be completed by the interview and planned EE plan submitted.
- Schedule training relevant to the WSP/ATR submissions.
- Scan and file all relevant training documentation
- Schedule Health and & safety meetings
- Follow op on Audits for H&S requirements
- Minute all H&S meetings as well as file drills
- Inspect First Aid kits as per legislation

8. Policies and Procedures
- Ensure all staff are equipped with the relevant policy and procedure documentation when HR Manager updates any document

**Education**:

- Bachelors (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Human Resources: 2 years (preferred)
- Manufacturing: 1 year (preferred)
