Assistant Banqueting Manager

Our client in the hospitality industry is urgently looking to employ an Assistant Banqueting Manager at their organization
Location: Umhlanga, KZN
**Requirements**:
- Diploma in Hospitality Management/ any industry-related qualification
- 3+ years within a banqueting department at supervisory or junior management level
- Experience within a 4 or 5 star property in the Banqueting department
- Must be proficient in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
**Responsibilities**:
- To assist the Banqueting Manager to lead and organize the Banqueting Service Team, to set and maintain standards and to strive to
- Establish and maintain happy, healthy and stable working relations with all staff and management.
- Responsible to operate within the policies and procedures as set out in the operating manual.
- Make regular visits to all Banqueting functions and ensure you lead from the front to evaluate quality of product and be regular contact
- To ensure that daily operational setups, procedure and standards are met as per the daily banqueting checklist
