**Job Brief**
We are looking for an experienced Operations Controller assistant to assist in overseing the daily operations of our stores.
The goal is to assist our Retail Office Store Manager to manage our stores in ways that boost revenues and develop the business
**Responsibilities**:
- Organizing all store operations and allocating responsibilities to personnel
- Supervising and guiding staff towards maximum performance
- Preparing and controlling the store's budget aiming to minimum expenditure and efficiency
- Monitor stock levels and purchases and ensure they stay within budget
- Inspect the areas in store and resolve any issues that might arise
- Assist and oversee in-store promotional events and displays
- Analyze sales and create detailed revenue reports
- Ensure the store fulfills all heath and safety guidelines
**Requirements and Skills**:
- Proven experience as Retail Manager or in other managerial position
- Knowledge of retail management best practices
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- Excellent organizing and leadership skills
- Analytical mind and familiarity with data analysis principles
**Working Hours**:
Monday to Friday - 08:00 to 16:00
Saturdays - 08:00 to 13:00
Must be able to be available after hours & Sundays
**Job Type**: Permanent
**Salary**: R5,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Westville, KwaZulu-Natal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
**Experience**:
- Sales: 1 year (required)
