Business Development Funder

Our client is an established, elite private hospital based in Pretoria specialising in Urological conditions as well as Gynaecology/ Urogynaecology, Nephrology and Pelvic Wellness.
This specialised hospital are leaders in their field and the first to perform robotic surgery, implement a robotic pharmacy picking system and has one of only a handful of 3D laparoscopic surgical units in South Africa. Having recently undergone major renovations, they are embarking on a recruitment drive for a Business Development and Funder Relations
Officer reporting to the CEO.
The Key Performance Indicators of this position include creating a details business analysis, outlining problems, opportunities and solutions for the business including assessing doctors’ procedure cost vs best practice and performance in terms of admissions and revenue.
Additionally, you will be required to implement new business initiative s and grow the core business. You will manage Funder Relations, Industry Associations and Medical Aids. Attend board meetings and prepare reports for the CEO.
REQUIREMENTS o Tertiary qualification (NQF7), in business/commerce related field. o 4-6 years post qualification experience in a similar position, preferably in healthcare industry o Experience in financial modelling and developing business cases. o Strong analytic ability with proven experience in analysing of data. o Sound financial acumen o Relevant medical scheme and private hospital experience is a recommendation.
