**The Role**: Business Development Representative
**The City**:Table View, Cape Town (Parklands North)
**The Mandate**: Assist both existing sales pipeline and developing new business opportunities within a web development space.
**About the role**
As a Business Development Rep at Elemental, you will play a pivotal role in both nurturing existing sales pipelines and cultivating new business opportunities within the web development domain. We are looking for a dynamic individual who thrives in fast-paced environments, excels at closing deals, and possesses a keen eye for identifying opportunities to enhance client businesses.
Key Responsibilities
**Prospecting and Lead Management**:Actively identify and pursue new business prospects while effectively managing existing sales pipelines.
**Appointment Setting**:Schedule appointments and product demonstrations for the sales team with qualified leads to further the sales process.
**Client Qualification**:Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand the potential client's requirements, ensuring alignment with our offerings.
**Database Management**:Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of lead interactions and activities in the CRM system.
**Creative Client Acquisition**:Develop and implement smart plans to find new clients and keep current ones happy. Think up new ways to get people interested in our products/services and turn them into customers.
**Deal Closure**: Utilise your expertise in sales to successfully close deals, meeting and exceeding set targets consistently.
**Client Relationship Management**:Cultivate strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs deeply, and providing exceptional customer service throughout the sales process.
**Metrics and Reporting**:Track and report key performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of outreach efforts.
**Collaboration**:Work closely with our New Business Developer to ensure a seamless transition from prospecting to deal closure, facilitating a smooth handover to our development team.
**Continuous Learning**:Stay informed about industry trends, competitive products, and market conditions to enhance your knowledge and effectiveness in the role.

**Sales Acumen**:Demonstrated ability to excel in sales, with a proven track record of closing deals and meeting targets.
**Strategic Thinking**:Ability to understand project stages, anticipate potential risks, and identify areas for improvement in client businesses.
**Innovative Mindset**: Possess a creative flair for identifying new opportunities within client businesses and proposing innovative solutions.
**Industry Knowledge**: Familiarity with web, mobile, and app development.
