Meteorologist in Marketing for Jua's Ai Weather

At Jua you will go **on a mission **to unriddle the world's atmosphere by using the latest deep learning and satellite technology to build tools for monitoring and forecasting. **What we are looking for**:
As the **Meteorologist in Marketing** for Jua's AI weather model**, **you will leverage your meteorology expertise, social skills, and out-of-the-box thinking to promote Jua as an industry thought leader. You will accomplish your objectives through various means, such as building an online and offline community, organising a series of digital events, and establishing and managing relationships with journalists and experts in your industry.

**Responsibilities and tasks**:

- **Establish Jua as a thought leader on LinkedIn and other digital channels**: leverage Jua's unique weather insights and collaborate with leading voices in the industry to build a weather channel.
- **Engage and collaborate with industry thought leaders**:establish relationships with experts and collaborate on various projects such as joint podcast episodes, online and offline events, etc.
- **Build an online community**: guild and grow a Slack community of meteorologists, weather experts, risk managers, geospatial scientists, and more. Moderate conversations, organise online events and expand the community through word of mouth.
- **Event management**:Manage Jua's presence at leading industry events, and find unconventional ideas to make Jua truly stand out.
- **PR**: manage relationships with journalists and draft news articles that highlight Jua's outstanding capabilities.
- Report to the Head of Marketing, serving as the meteorology expert in the team while leveraging your peers' marketing expertise as needed.

**Requirements**:

- **Experience**: Your meteorology expertise is founded on your professional background as a meteorologist, weather analyst, or a related field.
- **Language**: You speak English fluently.
- **Communication skills**:You have good written and spoken communication skills which you can adapt to best reach and engage meteorologists and weather analysts.
- **Engagement**:As a natural communicator, you find pleasure in engaging with industry experts, customers, and other professionals in the weather industry.

**Nice-to-have**:

- An affinity to marketing and, in particular, experience with social media platforms are preferred qualifications.
