Head of Business Development and Origination

Our client has been successfully developing and implementing renewable energy projects since 1996. They currently realise installations with a total annual investment of 500 million euros. More than 1200 employees worldwide work with enthusiasm on site acquisition, planning, engineering, financing and the construction of wind, solar, battery storage and green hydrogen plants for a sustainable energy supply, and they provide operational management and maintenance.

**Duties**:

- You are our face to the industry - offtakers, investors and government
- You maintain and grow our network to investors and present sales opportunities
- You acquire a deep knowledge of the project pipeline from a technical perspective and create business opportunities accordingly
- You identify and map the company’s business strengths and offtakers and Investors needs
- You seek and thrive to selling renewable energy projects and other the company’s services on the market, including in the C&I space (private tenders; corporate PPAs)
- You initiate deals and manage the information exchange and negotiations together with the team
- You follow local industry trends and research business opportunities and viable income streams
- You support the project development activities of the team
- You support the team in bidding processes
- You work in interdisciplinary and international teams

**Requirements**:

- You have an entrepreneurial mindset
- You have an academic degree in Economics, Business Administration or related
- You have several years of professional experience in Business Development, Project Development or Finance
- You have a deep knowledge of renewable energy products and the value proposition
- You have been responsible for renewable energy projects participating in the REIPPPP
- You are business fluent in English
- You are a skillful networker and negotiator
- You work independently and in teams
