Assistant HR Practitioner

**Job Desciption**:
Novus Print Gauteng is currently seeking to appoint an Assistant HR Practitioner who will support the business unit with all HR related tasks and queries. This position is based in City Deep, Gauteng.
**Key Duties and Responsibilities**:
To support the management team with the day-to-day HR and employee relations functions. The key focus areas are follows:
- Legislative and statutory compliance (including EE and ATR/WSP reports)
- Assist with employee relations processes and procedures
- Recruitment and Selection
- Training and development (including administration)
- Capture, update, and report data on Sage300 People
- Maintenance of personnel records
- Resolve Remuneration and Payroll queries
- Coordinate Employee Equity meetings
- General HR administration
- Compile Monthly HR reports
**Educational Requirements**:
Degree or equivalent qualification in HR/Industrial Pyschology
**Experience Requirements**:
- 2-3 years general HR experience/exposure
- Relevant experience obained in manufacturing/production environment would be considered advantageous
**Skills and Competencies**:
- Experience in all Microsoft packages including MS Excel, MS Word
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Verbal and written skills
- Planning and organising
- High level of accuracy and detail oriented
