HR Information Systems Support Officer

- Troubleshoot all system admin issues and tasks
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues, set-up user and administrator accounts and maintain appropriate access
- Train other administrators on key system functionality, administrative tasks and processes.
- Participate in client meetings related to support, modifications, configurations and customizations.
- Respond to numerous Task/ Incident per day following a standard process including raising /documenting/ coordinating tasks.
- Demonstrate and explain functions within the various information systems providing options and solutions around client needs.
- Support system implementations or upgrades by participating in UAT to test and analyse system functionality and document results.
- Maintain ongoing system documentation.
- Develop and execute custom, ad-hoc and standard notifications
- Test new functionality developed by in-house developers. Work with developers to troubleshoot issues.
- Generate and schedule standard and custom reports on a regular and ad-hoc basis
- Assist in the design and development of custom reports.
**Qualifications and Experience**:
- Matric with a Degree in HR/IT / Business Analysis or a SAP Certification
- Must have a good understanding of how HR Information Systems support and enhance HR business processes
- Knowledge of technical data processing procedures, policies, and best practices
- Knowledge in supporting and administrating an HR Information System
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced Data Processing skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent computer literacy (Advanced Excel)
