Key Responsibilities:
Procurement Management:
- Develop and execute procurement strategies that align with company goals.- Perform cost analyses and set benchmarks for cost.- Ensure timely delivery of materials and services from vendors.- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and new suppliers.
- Create and manage matrices to measure supplier performance(OTD, Backlog)
- Attendance and management of Slotting Room Procurement requirements.
- Executing and driving down MRP exception messages

People Management:
- Lead and manage a team of buyers, providing guidance and support.- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.- Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.- Develop training programs to enhance the skills of the procurement team.

Supplier Relationship Management:
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.- Ownership of supplier order book, end to end orderbook management.- Continuous improvement actions to ensure supplier on time delivery improvement.- Manage supplier bin levels and Lead times on a quarterly basis- Supplier COUPA managements of delivery dates and invoices.- Evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery speed.- Identify potential suppliers and build and maintain good relationships with them.- Local Supplier Audit and visits as and when required.

Compliance and Reporting:
- Prepare weekly, Bi-Monthly and monthly reporting as required.- Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and ethical requirements.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
- Procurement or related Diploma- BCom/ Supply Chain Degree would be advantageous- CIPS qualification would be advantageous- Minimum of 5 - 7 years' experience in Procurement
