purpose is to ensure production processes, equipment being used and the working environment are all conducive to producing high-quality products both safely and efficiently.
- Quality release process must take place before materials are used for production.
- Ensure line opening & closing procedures are carried out according to relevant quality process.
- Monitor production activity to ensure appropriate manufacturing methods are employed, and that sufficient care is taken to meet both the company and client’s quality specifications.
- Ensure that all quality related documentation is completed with accuracy.
- Developing and implementing inventory control systems and practices.
- Ensure proper In process checks during production as per manufacturing documents.
- Report any quality, non conformances or process failures timeously.
- Daily verify scales that are used for checking and verifying fill volumes.
- Ensure that a rework instruction report is completed should the need arise on the lines.
- Promote and maintain awareness and compliance with health and safety in accordance with company policy.
- Maintain proactive, dynamic, and effective communication with clients always.
- Implement, monitor, and review personnel training and development plans.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Grade 12 with Mathematics.
- Minimum of 2 years in a similar role.
- Must have experience from a manufacturing industry having worked with steel/aluminum.

**COMPETENCE**
- Work competently with figures
- Administration experience in a quality environment
- Knowledge of instrumentation and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Will be responsible for maintaining current installed systems
