The purpose of this role is to implement, enhance and maintain all required aspects of ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System standards as set out by the organisation. To respond as first line support on all Quality concerns.

**Role**:

- 1st-Line response to all Production failures. Root Cause analysis, reporting and prevention of reoccurrence.
- Ensuring all process remain in control at all times.
- Conduct In-Process Inspections (IPI) and accurately record and report findings in the format requested by the Quality Manager.
- Analysing and monitoring pre, post and new Production support processes to control the Quality standard at all times.
- Conduct failure Root cause analysis on defective and scrapped component, and action plan to address corrective actions.
- Ensure that only the latest version of Production related quality records is on the Production line and workstations.
- Filling out Operator Training documents and filing accurately and timeously.
- Ensure the inspection, testing and acceptance of equipment and products manufactured by the supplier and LM production team.
- Ensure the accurate completion and submission of reports on measuring and testing activities.
- Control of activities and processes of non-Conforming goods (RED BINS).
- Ensure that good housekeeping is maintained relating to Work areas of Quality and Production staff.
- Assist to review and update workstations manuals, work instructions and process flows.
- Conducting end of line final quality check on finished goods.
- Packaging finished goods.
- Assist in developing models, databases, and spreadsheets to analyse data (e.g., hours per unit, operations research, engineering economics), and provides summary analysis and metrics for consultation to customers (e.g., management, departments, suppliers).
- Creates, modify, and maintain production work instructions, process flow and floor layouts (AutoCAD/MicrosoftVisio).

**Knowledge, Skills and Attributes**:

- Good communication (Verbal and written) and report writing.
- Computer literature skill (Microsoft office word, outlook, excel and PowerPoint).
- Output driven.
- Quality conscious.
- Attentive to detail.
- Good analytical skills.
- Hands on type personality.
- Strong personality.

**Skills/Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering or any related field.
- 3 Years’ relevant experience in an aligned position.
- Quality assurance certificate or equivalent certificate is advantageous.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract

- Gauteng, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
