**The duties and responsibilities of the **Finance Officer will include, but not limited to**:

- Prepare forecasts and projections for future expenses to support budgeting and cash flow management efforts.
- Process payments and accounts
- Monitor and verify transactions
- Correct/journal supplier reconciliations
- Manage vendor accounts and relationships
- Analyse financial data and compile reports
- Ensure compliance with tax laws and tax regulations.
- Assist in internal and external audits to eliminate risk factors such as fraud.
- Assist in personnel management by engaging employees in HR processes
- Conduct Ad-hoc tasks from time to time

Required qualifications, skills, and experience.
- A Bachelor’s degree in finance or Auditing or related discipline is highly valued although experience and prior learning will also be considered.
- Minimum of 3 years creditors experience
- Professional Registration with SAIPA or SAICA
- Proficiency in accounting systems, Computer literacy in MS Office
- Fluent in English and a local language (written and verbal
- Knowledge of the NGO sector would be an advantage
- Ability to work as a team member
- Valid Driver’s License

**Personal Competencies**
- Willingness to travel within South Africa.
- Attention to Detail, ability to ensure accuracy of data
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must be customer service orientated

Remuneration will be competitive, based on skills and experience.
