We are in the market for a Payroll Specialist with excellent payroll administration skills, versatile ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced global technology company.

This position is open to Cape Town or Dublin.

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**:
Process bi-weekly/monthly payroll in a fast-paced environment using multiple payroll systems
Provide employees with information regarding paychecks and assist in resolving discrepancies with paychecks
Ensure that the appropriate controls and procedures are in-place and being followed regarding payroll processing in order to ensure they are effective and efficient processes
Work closely with Human Resources on programs such as benefits administration, personnel audits, 401(k) process, testing, and reporting, and other business reporting
Perform a timely and accurate monthly close process for all Payroll functions including reconciliations of accounts and systems, review of all accruals for accuracy.
Coordinate timely and accurate transmission/receipt of payroll files and records to third-party payroll or benefit vendors and ensure payments made timely.
Maintain familiarity with current tax regulations and procedures through review of department trade subscriptions. Working with managers, implement procedural changes as necessary when tax regulations change

**Ensure confidentiality is maintained**: ensure department files are locked as appropriate, discuss employee issues only with authorized personnel, and exercise discretion in conversations in open areas.
Assist with special projects, such as research for audit support, as requested

**WHAT YOU HAVE**:
Bachelor's Degree (strongly preferred)
2+ years in Payroll Administration (high-tech industry preferred)
Native or bi-lingual proficiency in English (essential)
Experience with commissions, incentive compensation, 401k, etc...
Knowledge of general payroll practices, IRS and multi-State regulations
Strong system skills including various payroll systems such as ADP, Streamline or similar
Proficient in Excel
Excellent payroll administration skills with strong attention to detail, the ability to meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Customer service-oriented individual with strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills including the ability to interact effectively and independently with senior management across the organization
Adaptable to change
Native, bi-lingual or business proficiency in German, Spanish or Dutch (advantageous)
