- Reports to Regional Manager/Gauteng Refrigeration Manager- Subordinates: 1. Warehouse Assistants 2. Warehouse Technicians 3. Warehouse and Logistics Administrator- Job Purpose:
- The role will be firstly responsible for supervising the storage, distribution, inventory management and records maintenance of Fridges in a warehouse. The role is secondly responsible to ensure company's targets and objectives are met to meet customer requirements- Key Performance Indicators:
- Responsible for purchasing and administration of stock- Management of Stock and assets in the Warehouse:
- 1. Supervise and control order picking, goods in, goods out operations to ensure accuracy with minimum handling and stock damage.- 2. Supervise counting and identifying of stock.- 3. Prepare worker schedules and ensure warehousing and distribution workers follow safety rules.- 4. Ensure that internal delivery processes are adhered to support dispatch time windows.- 5. Ensure that the stock is captured onto database.- 6. Monitor and maintain stock accuracy by ensuring the physical stock is in line with the warehouse management system and ensure all stock movements are recorded to ensure accuracy.- 7. Ensure stocks are in correct locations.- 8. Monitor stock levels in order to highlight minimum and excess levels and therefore prevent stock shortages.- 9. Attend and resolve customer’s queries. 10. Submit relevant reports as and when required- Manage the Movement of Assets:
- 1. Plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services- 2. Supervise the movement, distribution and storage of Fridges.- 3. Control the flow of incoming Fridges and outgoing Fridges to ensure customers receives the Fridges on time.- 4. Keep records of quality and quantity stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency- 5. Attend to and resolve customer’s queries.- Manage stock to ensure that optimal stock in the warehouse:
- 1. Manage stock items to ensure optimal stock in the warehouse.- 2. Create and approve purchase orders.- 3. Forecast supply and demand to prevent overstocking and running out-of-stock.- 4. Order stock to ensure minimum stock levels are maintained.- 5. Ensure stock are allocated to the correct locations.- 6. Conduct stock take and ensure the physical stock are aligned to the system.- 7. Invoice customers for stock sold.- 8. Manage all receiving and storing of stock in the warehouse.- 9. Manage the stock control, replenish of stock and stock rotation.- 10. Plan, coordinate and control distribution of stock- Maintain excellent relationships with customers and suppliers:
- 1. Liaise and negotiate with customers and suppliers.- 2. Ensure suppliers are paid.- 3. Review prices and product specifications from various suppliers to determine which would provide the best deal-

- Qualifications/Experience:
- 1. Matric- 2. Warehouse and Logistics qualification, (Business Administration, Purchasing or Warehouse and Logistics).- 3. Valid driver’s license.- 4. Some purchasing experience- 3. Computer literacy - Intermediate proficiency in Ms. Office- 4. Customer service experience- 5. Warehouse and logistics experience.- Skills & Knowledge:
- 1. Analysis skills.- 2. Intermediate proficiency in Ms. Office.- 3. Knowledge of warehouse principles.- 4. Telephone etiquette.- 5. Attention to detail**What Qualification**
