- Oversee and manage packing and dispatch of stock orders
- Performance manage and analysis
- Ensure orders are delivered/ collected on time
- Manage quality control of completed orders
- Manage and priorities orders in progress with the factory (incoming and outgoing)
- Plan imports (Stock quantities) with imports department and updated imports spreadsheet
- Ensure all stock received including imports is correct and quality controlled
- Manage stock transfer process
- Manage goods returned process
- Manage weekly stock take of both Raw and finished goods. Some categories of stock are counted daily. As a results all stock are counted at least once a month
- Fast moving items should be counted and reconciled weekly
- Ensure daily cycle counts carried out and variance investigated
- Manage full stock counts on all stores on monthly /Quarterly-hoc basis
- Check stock variances (Computer vs actual stock) and submit a written report identifying reasons for discrepancies and implement corrective measures
- Manage all stores procedures and ensure that they are followed and improve procedures where applicable
- Recommend changes in minimum stock quantities of finished goods
- Maintain minimum and maximum stock levels and ensure no stock outs
- Ensure stock card entries mirror computer records
- Manage stock orders process and ensure accurate records are kept security
- Ensure no loss of stock
- Manage security contractor and CCTV system
- Ensure hygienic and safe working procedures and conditions (OHS)
- Ensure packaging used for customer orders is neat and functional
- Manage warehouse staff, including training requirements, performance, Discipline and timekeeping
- Manage printing department's staff. Including training requirements, Discipline and timekeeping
- Ensure vehicle fleet is maintained and serviced, Trip sheets are written up correctly, Cost each delivery is calculated and records are ascertain when couriers method would be cheaper
- Ensure regular housekeeping in all departments
- Be prepared to work longer hours and weekends as dictated by the work loads
- Relationship building and management (Internal)
- Training and coaching of staff
- Top management report and feedback
- Boards level meetings
- HR and labour relations functions**Inherent Requirements**
- It is ESSENTIAL that this person has:
- No less than 4 years prior experience as a warehouse manager (Contactable references required)
- Excellent management skills
- **Advanced Excel skills (not negotiable)**:

- WMS operating system experience
- Qwix operating system experience
- Syspro operating system experience
- Own transport
- Able to conform to company required operating hours
