**purpose**
**key responsibilities**
Oversee the general administration of employee benefits by:
Benefit allocations and resolutions.
Monitoring & tracking of and reporting on benefit processes/documentation to ensure completeness, accuracy, and delivery in line with policies.
Liaising with external stakeholders (dependents, fund administrators, insurers) on behalf of employees re. benefit allocations & resolutions.
Ensure timely payment of monthly premiums.
Handle all benefit compensations (IOD's).
Advise employees of their benefit options.
Collaborate and maintain professional communication with finance department.
Understanding of the details of all benefits choices offered by the company.
Serve as primary contact between employees, benefit plan providers and third-party administrators.
Document and maintain administrative procedures for assigned benefits processes.
Ensure timeliness and accuracy of required reporting and fees.
**requirements**
1. Education:
- Grade 12 and a Diploma in Administration/or similar.
2. Experience:
- 1+ year/s relevant experience. Understanding of Employee Benefits & Rewards (advantageous).
3. Knowledge/ Skills:
- Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills, HR Systems (Sage, etc) advantageous.
- Attention to detail.
4. Key Attributes:
- Self-motivated, proactive and works independently.
- Confident and ability to communicate at all levels of the organisation.
