**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Project Planning and Execution**:
- Develop comprehensive project plans outlining objectives, timelines, resources, and deliverables.
- Coordinate project activities and tasks to ensure successful execution within defined parameters.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or issues, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Ensure adherence to project budgets and resource allocation.
- **Stakeholder Engagement**:
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, SETA representatives, and external partners to ensure alignment of project goals with organizational objectives and SETA regulations.
- Facilitate regular communication and updates with stakeholders to ensure transparency and consensus on project direction and outcomes.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders to foster cooperation and support for skills development initiatives.
- **Program Development and Implementation**:
- Design and implement skills development programs in line with SETA guidelines and industry requirements.
- Identify training needs and opportunities for skills enhancement within the organization.
- Evaluate existing training programs and recommend improvements or modifications to enhance effectiveness and relevance.
- **Monitoring and Evaluation**:
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and evaluation metrics to assess the impact and effectiveness of skills development projects.
- Conduct regular evaluations and assessments to measure program outcomes and identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare reports and presentations on project progress, outcomes, and recommendations for senior management and SETA stakeholders.
- **Compliance and Regulatory Oversight**:
- Ensure compliance with SETA regulations, accreditation standards, and legal requirements related to skills development initiatives.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes affecting skills development and training programs.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience (X years) in project management, particularly in the field of skills development or training programs.
- Familiarity with SETA regulations, accreditation processes, and requirements.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
**Additional Requirements**:
- Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) preferred.
- Experience working with SETA or similar regulatory bodies is an advantage.
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies is desirable.
