**Purpose of the position**
- The Mining Accounts Manager is responsible for the end to end management of a portfolio of Key Account and Projects.
- Maintaining a long term relationship and actively managing these relationships to reduce churn, increase existing revenue and influence new sales opportunities within them are crucial.

**Areas of Responsibilities**
- Operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to your clients
- Own overall relationship with Portfolio of clients, which include: Increasing adoption, ensuring retention, upselling and satisfaction.
- Daily management of Projects, Pilot, POC’s, Special Projects and allocated Key Accounts
- Scheduled visits, which may at times include extensive and/or overnight travel
- Presentation of Projects Reviews and Quarterly Program Performance Reviews
- Oversee the deployment process for new Project customers
- Continuous Risk and Gap Analysis
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships. Work to identify and/or develop upsell opportunities.
- Develop, prepare, and nurture customers for advocacy.
- Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key customer stakeholders and executive sponsors. (Multi-level and cross functional interaction) and drive continued value in Risk Mitigation using our products and services Areas of responsibility are adaptive and may change as and when business needs within company change

**Main Responsibilities within the Projects department**
- Focus on mining customer retention
- Management of behavioural risk and reporting on key areas of concern to ensure customer awareness and ability to implement change
- Adherence to the company Project and Accounts Process as a guideline to achieve deliverables within Project phases
- Act as the point of contact for a product and service requirements including the ability to cross sell and upsell
- Coordinate internal resources for the flawless execution of projects and or deployments
- Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring feasibility
- Ensure resource availability and allocation of internal and external resources
- Timeous and effective communication
- Report and escalate risks to management as needed
- Develop Risk strategies with mining customers to ensure long term and sustainable risk reduction results.
- Comprehensive, detailed handover of successful Projects into the company CSM environment
- Ensure the smooth transition of customers from Project to CSM
- Establish and maintain relationships with all relevant stakeholders
- Perform other related duties as assigned

**Main Responsibilities within the CSM department**

- Liaise between clients and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs. (Including requirement gathering from clients, briefing of internal teams and project management as and when required.)
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships. Work to identify and/or develop upsell opportunities. Develop, prepare, and nurture customers for advocacy.
- Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key customer stakeholders and executive sponsors. (Multi-level and cross functional interaction) and drive continued value in Risk Mitigation using our products and services
- Manage customer expectations.
- Forecast and track key account metrics
- Keep clients informed of product and service developments within company
- Ensure Client’s product and service knowledge and training
- In accordance with Client’s Program Plan/Strategy. Identify and grow opportunities within your client base through account planning. Work with clients to establish critical goals, or other key performance indicators and aid the customer in achieving their goals.
- Project Manage assigned Clients’ Program implementation, including Deployment roll-out planning, DR Program Experience and performance related to their program goals and expectations. Establish and maintain Client Program Plan/Strategy.
- Analyse risks and trends identified thru the client’s use of the company
- Program, and using company best practices and model strategies propose solutions / recommendations to client through Program Performance Reviews - 21 day / Quarterly and Annual.
