**Main Purpose of the job**:
To provide effective, comprehensive, and efficient administrative support and ensure Donor, SARS, WHC Policies and Procedures are being adhered.

**Location**:

- Parktown (JHB)

**Key performance areas**:

- Ensure the adherence to the company financial and compliance requirements and take corrective action where necessary
- Compile reports for divisions and group as required
- Load all relevant sub recipient information onto the Federal Site and to ensure it is always up to date
- Ensure processing, compliance, administration & ad hoc projects are completed accurately & timeously
- Conduct periodic assessments for WHC and divisions, including Sub-Recipients
- Ensure understanding and adherence to specific Donor rules and regulations, SARS requirements, and the Office of Management and Budget under USAID rules and regulations
- Assist with compliance requirements from the Grants department, including audit support
- Compile an audit file for Sub-Recipient audits
- Assessing/auditing and monitoring of petty cash/participants
- Assist and support with online banking
- Establish and maintain sound relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders
- Assisting with ad hoc report when required

**Required minimum education and training**:

- **_BCom Degree or equivalent_**

**Required minimum work experience**:

- **_Minimum of two years’ experience in Administration_**

**_Desirable additional education, work experience and personal abilities:_**
- Able to work overtime and travel (including into Africa)
- Excellent communication skills (both oral and written)
- Exceptional organizational and administrative skills are required
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Confidentiality, tact, and discretion must be maintained at all times
- Understanding of donor rules and regulations
- Confident personality with a proactive approach
- Able to exercise discretion, initiative and independent decision making
- Ability to prioritize own workload and work to tight time scales
- Maintain effective working relationships with all relevant stakeholders, both internal and external
