Reception & Office Manager

**Purpose of the Role**
To efficiently manage the day-to-day operations of the Moonspin office space.
**Key Responsibilities:
**Office Management**:
- Support and manage regular inspection tours of the entire facility for appearance, safety, staffing, security, and maintenance
- General office administration and data capturing as required
- Create and maintain Excel spreadsheets to track, and control costs of office and maintenance expenses
- Various other administrative and office-related functions such as ordering office supplies and maintenance of the printers
- Maintain and replenish office stock such as stationery and general supplies - such as tea, coffee, and bathroom supplies
- Manage the maintenance call outs for the company equipment
- Monthly check on all company equipment / Asset Management
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding of employees
- Management of office-related contracts
- Other ad-hoc tasks as required
**Reception**:
- Front of house services including answering calls, and reception greeting.
- Ensuring that the reception area is always a professional and neat environment.
- Receiving visitors and contractors
- Manage boardroom, kitchen, and meeting areas
- Ensure all spaces are cleaned, stocked, and set up
- Control petty cash
- Manage printing and stationery
- 2-3 years of relevant office management/receptionist experience essential
- Proven experience in performing basic accounting tasks including working knowledge of business online banking
- Matric qualification: a tertiary qualification will be an added advantage
- Excellent written and oral communication skills required
- Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent computer and typing skills with proficiency in Microsoft office.
- Excellent listening and comprehension
- Ability to handle multiple tasks
- Strong planning and organizational skills to meet deadlines
- Ability to build and maintain internal and external relationships
