Advance Certificate in Labour Law
Certified Skills Development Facilitator
(Minimum relevant experience expressed in periods of time, areas of activities and jobs)
3 to 4 Years experience as Industrial Relations Officer and Training Officer
To co-ordinate the Internal Industrial Relation processes
To manage training and development in the organization
Ensure knowledge and understanding of the companys policies, practices, and procedures
Co-ordinate disciplinary measures as per the companys policies and procedures
Work with Line Managers with respect to disciplinary action required, including preparation of documents, investigation of offences, identifying and preparing witnesses
Scheduling hearings
Attend hearings
Keep record of minutes of hearings
Advise, guide, and oversee the implementation of disciplinary action in consultation with the Technical Liaison Manager
Facilitate counselling sessions and issue warnings
Manage grievances and grievance procedures timeously and ensure management are updated
Assist with job descriptions
Responsible for the identifying of training needs jointly with line managers
Responsible for the planning, implementation and reporting of training
Responsible for the recovery of skills development levy from MERSETA
To register learnerships, apprenticeships and skills programmes
