Responsible for training and evaluation of all employees within US Contact Centre. Monitor and facilitate training programmes, update and prepare training material for all employees. Responsible for facilitating learning and training employees, ensuring that the remain competent and skilled for their jobs. Assists employees to enhance their skills in order to meet business requirements.

To provide high quality training to all Cruises employees.

To assist in the acquisition and maintenance of skills within the department and organisation.

To maintain effective communication with Employees and to establish training needs

To evaluate the effectiveness of training and modify materials as appropriate.

To develop and maintain training material to the highest standards for internal and external courses.

To maintain training material in line with changes

To ensure that training materials are appropriate to the Companys requirements.

To design training materials that reflects company developments.

Any other assigned responsibilities related to the above

Design, develop and facilitate specific learning interventions and programmes targeted at all staff in line with the training strategy.

Upskill, multiskill and cross skill all employees


Work in partnership with the business units to fully understand the key business drivers and needs, of current and future training challenges.

Assess training needs through surveys, interviews with employees, focus groups, or consultation with managers and/or supervisors.

Offer specific training programs to help staff maintain or improve job skills.


Facilitate learning using a wide range of instructional techniques or formats, such as role playing, simulations, team exercises, group discussions, videos, or classroom training.


Identification of training needs analysis; updating training matrix; compilation of Workplace Skills Plan and ART, development of Career plans and succession plans and review of job descriptions.

Organize and develop, or obtain, training procedure manuals and guides and course materials such as handouts and visual materials.

Coach and support learners.

Job Specific Capabilities and Experience:

Experience

Essential:
Matric

Relevant tertiary qualification in education or training is required

National Diploma in Human Resources Management will be an advantage

Three years experience in designing and implementing employee development

programmes

Technical Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft word, Microsoft Power-point

Key Skills and Competencies
Flexibility to work in various shifts

Knowledge regarding US culture desirable

Acute attention to detail

Strong administrative skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Time management and strong analytical skills

Working knowledge of MS Office Suite
