DOVES (PTY) LTD (‘’The Company’’) has a great opportunity for a suitably qualified **Cluster Manager **, for the Doves **Tshwane Cluster, in the Gauteng region.**

Doves is a 100% black owned Company and one of the largest funeral directing companies in Southern Africa. Doves runs a national network in excess of 160 branches in all 9 provinces, providing insurance, funeral services and related products. Doves is an authorised financial services provider with its funeral insurance underwritten by 3Sixty Life Limited.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

The Cluster Manager has the overall responsibility for a number of Doves Funeral branches in an allocated cluster/area and will be responsible for staff and work closely with the Regional Manager.
- Manage the operations and support services for all the branches (arranging and operational) within the cluster.
- Assign and direct all work performed in the branch and supervise all areas of operation.
- Manage staff and foster a positive environment and ensure customer satisfaction with exceptional service delivery.
- Ensure compliance to legislative framework and company policy and processes.
- Maintain highest standards and ensure effective control over assets such as inventory, equipment, vehicles and facilities.
- Generate revenue/income by selling up for all funerals. Increase revenue and profitability by selling higher specifications coffins/services or additional products/services
- Providing the cluster with a stimulating and supportive environment.
- Ensuring full compliance with Operational Manual, Processes, Policies and Procedures, Code of Conduct, Doves Funeral Services Values
- Maintaining and increasing standards
- Controlling and managing branch expenditure (Financial Control), assets and facilities (Vehicles, Inventory, Furniture, Equipment)
- Controlling the training and development of your staff
- Branch visits, for compliance and auditing of cluster branches and facilities.
- Ensure compliance with the Health Act, No 63 of 1977 read with Regulations 33 and 39 related to Undertaker Premises.
- Ensure and Manage compliance in accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act 85 of 1993.
- The incumbent will be responsible for the growth and performance of the branch, managing all expenditure and assets.
- In addition, you will manage the branch staff and the entire funeral related operational activities at the branch.

**ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS**

4. Proficient in English.

5. Valid Driver’s License.

6. Excellent Verbal and Written Skills.

7. Computer literate.

**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS**:

- Grade 12/Matric Certificate
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in managing personnel or any supervisory related position is required.
- 2 years Team Management experience.
- Funeral industry experience will be an advantage
