**How you’ll make an impact**
Working alongside the Head of Partner Sales, this role is responsible for leading a team of Inside Sales Account Managers. The Partner Team Manager is responsible for the on-going coaching, development and leadership to help them to achieve their sales targets and ensuring Accounting and Bookkeeping Partners receive the support and guidance they need to succeed. The role draws on experience and proven, dynamic sales leadership accompanied by knowledge of the South African accounting marketplace. It carries responsibility for a significant proportion of the Xero South African business.

**What you'll do**:
- Manage, coach and mentor team members to meet and exceed monthly targets
- Responsible for development of territory plans to facilitate salespeople achieving targets
- Responsible for overall people management of your team including the ongoing performance management, engagement, professional skills development, coaching and career progression of the team
- Deliver timely and accurate sales forecasts and associated reporting
- Promote Xero’s vision of Digital Practice excellence to accounting practices
- Monitor activity and provide hands-on process improvement
- Carefully monitor competition in the South African market and provide valuable, timely and insightful input into competitive strategy
- Promote Xero as a thought leader via the creation of content. eg Blogs, social media, webinars, events, and media engagement
**What you'll bring with you**:
- Sales leadership experience preferred
- Knowledge of day to day operation of an Accounting Firm would be a real advantage
- Experience in all aspects of people management within your team including the ongoing performance management, professional skills development, coaching and career progression of the team.
- Proven ability to develop and manage territory plans that facilitate your team to achieve its targets
