**ROLE PURPOSE**

We are looking for a dynamic People Business Partner to join our People Operations team. As a People Business Partner, you will act as a trusted advisor responsible for embedding the Lula culture within specific partnering teams in the organization, and provide guidance and support on all people related matters. You will collaborate with the People Operations team to design and implement people related projects, processes, practices and initiatives aligned with the Lula culture and company objectives.

**ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Be present and available to engage with employees and respond to team needs as required.
- Develop a deep understanding of partnering teams' objectives and ways of working in order to identify and address people related needs and challenges effectively.
- Design, implement and reinforce policies, programmes and other people experience projects that reinforce Lula's culture and the overall achievement of business goals and objectives.
- Drive talent management initiatives, including performance management, succession planning, and leadership development.
- Collaborate with managers to identify and address employee training and development needs, providing coaching and guidance on career progression and development opportunities.
- Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, poor performance and disciplinary processes in line with Lula policies, ensuring compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations.
- Partner with the Talent team and collaborate on hiring strategies that will ensure that Lula attracts high performing individuals to be placed in the right positions.
- Analyse people related data to identify trends, develop insights, and recommend proactive solutions to enhance employee engagement, productivity, and retention.
- Stay current on HR trends and best practices, sharing knowledge and insights with the team and business leaders.
- Compile and submit annual EE reports, ensuring that actions are implemented according to the EE plan.
- Design and take responsibility for Lula's Learning & Development approach, processes and policies, including compiling and submitting the annual WSP and ATR.

**THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR**
- Bachelor's degree in Organisational Psychology or Human Resource Management.
- At least 2 or more years' experience within a People Business Partnering or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of developing and implementing people related processes, practices and policies aligned with South African labour law.
- Demonstrated experience partnering with senior leaders and providing strategic HR support.
- Proven ability to develop and implement HR programs and initiatives aligned with business objectives.
- Experience in talent management, including performance management, succession planning, and leadership development.
