Duties/Pligte
- Providing administrative support to the office of the Deputy Director of the Centre for Teaching and Learning (CTL);
- Providing reception services to the CTL building(s);
- Providing administrative support for CTL projects and activities including agenda setting, minute-taking and report writing;
- Providing support with event coordination and logístical arrangements, on and off-site, for CTL events;
- Supporting the CTL webmaster with keeping the website up to date;
- Monitoring equipment and reporting issues;
- Responsible for the overall tidiness of House Skuilhoek and relevant workspaces;
- Keeping the inventory for furniture and equipment;
- Monitoring and ordering supplies as needed;
- Identifying and reporting maintenance issues;
- Updating attendance records of CTL events.
- Verskaf administratiewe ondersteuning aan die kantoor van die Adjunkdirekteur van die Sentrum vir Onderrig en Leer (SOL);
- Verskaf ontvangsdienste aan die SOL gebou(e);
- Verskaf administratiewe ondersteuning aan SOL projekte en aktiwiteite met inbegrip van die opstel van agendas, neem van notules en skryf van verslae;
- Verskaf ondersteuning met geleentheidskoördinering en logistieke reëlings vir SOL geleenthede op
- en buite die kampus;
- Ondersteun die SOL webmeester met die opdatering van die SOL se webblad;
- Moniteer toerusting en rapporteer probleme;
- Verantwoordelik vir die algehele netheid van Huis Skuilhoek en toepaslike werkspasies;
- Byhou van inventaris van meubels en toerusting;
- Monitor en bestel van voorrade soos nodig;
- Identifiseer en rapporteer sake aan instandhouding;
- Opdatering van die bywoningsregisters van SOL-geleenthede.

Job Requirements/Pos Vereistes
- Senior Certificate (Grade 12);
- A post-school certificate or other qualification in a relevant field;
- At least two years' experience of secretarial and/or administrative work in a relevant context;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English;
- Excellent customer service skills;
- Strong interpersonal and time management skills;
- Excellent writing skills, including minutes and reports;
- Meticulous attention to detail;
- Excellent organisational skills;
- Excellent typing skills as well as computer literacy skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Moodle and MS Teams;
- Being a self-starter with the ability to take initiative.
- Seniorsertifikaat (Graad 12);
- 'n Naskoolse sertifikaat of ander kwalifikasie in 'n toepaslike gebied;
- Minstens twee jaar se ervaring van sekretariële en/of administratiewe werk in 'n toepaslike konteks;
- Uitstekende mondelinge en skriftelike kommunikasievaardighede in Engels;
- Uitstekende kliëntediensvaardighede;
- Sterk interpersoonlike en tydsbestuursvaardighede;
- Uitstekende skryfvaardighede met inbegrip van notules en verslae;
- Noukeurige aandag aan detail;
- Uitstekende organisatoriese vaardighede;
- Uitstekende tikvaardighede asook rekenaarvaardigheid in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Moodle en MS Teams;

Recommendation/Aanbeveling
- Competent in more than one official South African language;
- Experience of similar higher education teaching and learning enhancement environments;
- Competent in the use of MS Access;
- Experience with updating websites in SharePoint and WordPress.
